Carved hardwood L: 32 cm, W: 12 cm, H: 10 cm ca. 1900 Wood, matte glossy black patina in the shape of a four-legged animal with a long head. Bowls in animal form are called ‘kinahu’. It has not been clearly proven that they were used ceremonially, but they were certainly used as containers for meat and salt.
